"In today's world, sources from every corner bombard each person and society as a whole with violence at every level. Individuals, families and countries are fragmented and polarized into numbness. Places once thought to be safe and unpenetratable have come under seige.

 

Countless children grow up in a world with no voice. Kids that don't "fit in" have little if any, opportunity to study the arts or express themselves in a healthy productive manner. Electronic gadgets do not replace the power of a pencil and paper in a child's life.

 

My artwork attempts to paint places and things where lonely, disoriented souls can find solice, or joy or peace of mind.  I try to take ordinary objects, places, animals, and people and show the goodness that lies within.

 

Too many artist live at or below poverty levels. It is a shameful disgrace. The recognition of the rich value artists give to everyone within our homes, communities and nation, is long over-due."
