Realistic Original Oil and Acrylic Paintings

Landscapes Animals Still Life Figures Florals Ballooning

Until Judy received her first pair of glasses in second grade the world was a blur. When the world came into focus the flame was lit for a lifelong passion of art. Most kids Judy's age considered wearing glasses a burden and embarrassing. Judy found life.

Judy approaches painting with discipline. The process involves not only applying paint to canvas, but research and study.

The luminosity and use of warm colors is common in Judy's work as she views the interaction between light and object as a source of inspiration to paint the subject. Mysterious shadows and warm colors draw the viewer in and balance the rich colors of light. To Judy, the paint process is like breathing. A force that comes from within and yearns to express itself on a 2 dimensional surface.
Judy placed 2nd in this year's first annual Trekell Brush Company national painting contest.
